Granular Lawn Care Program

Our Granular Lawn Care Program is designed to target specific areas of your lawn so that your lawn can have ‘a noticeable difference.’

Early Spring: This application consists of our early spring fertilizer plus crabgrass pre-emergent.  It is designed to give your lawn the nutrients it needs for an early start and a quicker green-up.  In addition, this application will prevent crabgrass and foxtail from growing in your lawn.

Late Spring: This application is very similar to the Early Spring, boosting the slow release fertilizer rate, enhancing the color and density of turf without producing unwanted extra top growth.  Broadleaf weeds such as dandelions and clovers will be controlled at this time as well.

Summer: Typically summer is a very stressful time for turf in Kansas City.  This application will help provide the right nutrients so your lawn can maintain it’s color during this difficult time of the year.  Broadleaf weeds and nutsedge are also controlled at this time.

Grub Control: This application will prevent the white grub larvae from damaging the lawn when the eggs hatch in the late simmer.  This insect can cause extensive damage to lawns, therefore, this treatment is included for all our programs.  It is applied during the Summer treatment.

Early Fall: The most important time of the year for rejuvenating and preparing turf is the fall growing season.  This application boosts fertilizer levels so that the color, thickness, and density of the lawn can quickly recover from a long summer.  Broadleaf weeds and nutsedge are spot treated during this visit.

Late Fall (Winterizer): Nitrogen fertilizer is applied at a high level, allowing valuable nutrients to be stored as food.  This application also aids in root development, leading to better sustainability in droughts.
